Charles Schulz, creator of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, was an amazing evangelist. You might know that he insisted on the Scripture being read in the Christmas special, even though the network wanted it omitted. But have you noticed how Linus dropped his security blanket when he proclaimed the message of God’s angels, “Fear Not?” And take note that Charlie’s tree “died” and was brought “back to life” only to grow into a beautiful tree. And where was Linus’ blanket as they sang “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing?” He had laid it down at the foot of the tree. That sounds a lot like what we do when we come to the foot of the cross.

Be Ready Always...

to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15).  When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.

When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
