Let us pause in the quiet of this sacred day,
To remember the battles now faded away.
Freedom’s dear cost, etched in courage and pain,
Paid by the selfless for liberty’s gain.

Steadfast and valiant, unwavering and strong,
Their legacy of freedom endures ever long.
Their memory is precious, a cloud ever near,
A witness unbroken, their faith conquered fear.

Greater love has no one, the scriptures proclaim,
than to lay down one’s life, forsaking all gain.
So we thank our God for each soul who stood tall,
In love for their country, surrendering their all.

As we honor their service, let gratitude grow,
For blessings of liberty, for peace that we know.
We thank Jesus, our Savior, for grace freely given,
His strength is our anchor, His light leads to heaven.

Remember to pray on this Memorial Day,
For families who grieve for souls gone away.
Thank you, O Lord, for the brave and the true,
For the freedom they purchased, for the red, white, and blue.

Remember, too, our Lord Jesus, His life on this earth,
His resurrection power, and His promise of new birth.
He offers to all His grace and His rest.
Come to Him in faith, and today you’ll be blessed.

Do You Know Jesus?

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
