Christmas is a time of family and friends, fun festivities and especially FAITH. It’s a time when our hearts and minds should be firmly focused on the One who is our Lord and Saviour. Jesus left glory to enter into our world. He took on human flesh and lived the perfect, sinless life that we can never live. And then, in perfect submission to the will of God, Jesus offered Himself for our sins.
Christmas is about the One who was born to die. And, it’s about God, who “so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
May this Advent season be a time in which you look for opportunities to share your faith. Tell family and friends, business associates and acquaintances, about Jesus. Tell them about the love of God — a love so great that offers eternal life to all who trust in Jesus.
To God be the glory, this Christmas and throughout the year.
