“The love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves — but for Him who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

If the love and power of Christ constrains us, we must be meditating and relying on Him and His death. This will cut off all self-confidence and lead us entirely to Him, that He may work everything in us and through us. O Lord, may Your love on the cross fire my frozen heart also, that I may now begin to love and praise You purely and fervently and to offer my whole life up to You as an entire sacrifice of love; that I may be willing to resign myself wholly into Your hands, trusting implicitly in Your Divine sovereignty and grace.

Reader, your zeal for Christ, your love to Christ, and your strength to do the will of Christ, will be just in proportion to your faith in Christ. Faith realizes the love of Jesus, yields the heart to Jesus, draws supplies from Jesus, and consecrates the entire person to Jesus. The love of Christ constrains us, just in proportion as we believe and realize it.

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
