Please help us share God's truths and hope in Christ.

The Bible offers several “roads” to salvation. Each provides a “road map” of verses telling man’s lostness and how to make it “home.”

The Romans Road is likely the “most-traveled” of all the salvation roads, but there is also a John Road and a Revelation Road.

In the Book of John, Jesus is presented as the Son of God, God Himself, who came down from Heaven on a mission to seek and save mankind.  Jesus is presented as the Bread of Life in John 6:35 and the Light of the World in John 8:12. John 10:7 presents Him as the Door of the Sheep, John 10:11 as the Good Shepherd, and John 11:25 as the Resurrection and the Life, And in John 15:1 He is the True Vine. Most importantly, Jesus is the way to the Father:

John 14:6  Jesus said unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Heaven Should Be Everyone’s Desired Destination

God desires that none should perish, but all come to Him in faith through Jesus. We are all on a road to somewhere.  And the Book of John shows the way to Heaven with the Light from above.

The John Road to Salvation.

1. Men love darkness and their deeds are evil.

John 3:19 “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Jesus is the light.

John 12:36, 46 “While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light….I have come as a light into the world, that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.”

2. The world hates God.

John 7:7  “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.”

God loves the world.

John 3:16-17  “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

3. The devil wants to destroy you.

John 10:10a  “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…

Jesus laid down his life for you.

John 10:10b  …I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:11, 14-15   “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. . . I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.”As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.”

4. Jesus wants to give you eternal life.

John 10:27-28   “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.  And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”

Jesus is the way.

John 14:6  Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 3:36  “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

5. What must you do?

John 3:3  Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

John 1:12-13  But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:  who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

You know who you are without Jesus.  You are a sinner in need of forgiveness.  Jesus paid for your sins. Turn from your sins and turn to Jesus.  Come to Him in faith, trusting in His promise to forgive you. He will wash you clean and give you His righteousness.  In Him, you will be worthy to enter into the presence of God.  When you reach the end of your “road,”  your final destination will be Heaven, forever, with Jesus.

In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9

Share the Love of Jesus and His Saving Grace with Someone Today!

Use the Romans Road or the John Road to turn them to the Saviour.  Then, help them to pray something like this:

Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and not worthy of Your forgiveness. But the Bible tells me that You died to forgive all my sins, and You promise to save me if I confess my sins and trust in You. I believe You died for me and that You rose from the dead. I want to know you. I ask You to forgive my sins, give me eternal life, and help me live in a way that honors You. In Your name, I pray. Amen
