Where is your glory?

God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. (Galatians 6:14)

The cross was a victory!!! Our sins have been nailed to His cross and we have been crucified with Him.

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:13-14)

His death paid the penalty for our sins and His resurrection gives us new life, eternally with Him. He clothes us with His righteousness and makes us worthy to forever dwell with Him.

Our sins have been paid for by the precious blood of Jesus, shed for us on the cross — and God remembers our sins no more.

I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. (Isaiah 43:25)

In the cross of Jesus Christ

we lose our fears and obtain the sweetest comforts.

we find our rest and a foretaste of promised glory.

we obtain a hope eternal and an assurance of life everlasting.

Oh, in the cross of Jesus Christ we see

the symbol of our faith

the sorrow of our sins

the sacrifice of our Saviour

the surety of our redemption

and the glory of our souls.

God forbid that I should glory,

save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,

by whom the world is crucified unto me,

and I unto the world. (Galatians 6:14)
