Please help us share God's truths and hope in Christ.
We believe in a pre-Trib Rapture because we believe that is what the Bible teaches.  Let’s consider what we know:
  • The Tribulation is a seven-year period, the seventieth week of Daniel’s prophecy (Daniel 9). [Read: What is the Seventieth Week of Daniel?]
  • Jesus spoke of the Great Tribulation, the last 3 1/2 years of the seven-year period. Mat 24:21
  • The Tribulation will be the time of Jacob’s trouble (Jer 30:7). [Jacob’s name was changed to Israel = the time of Israel’s trouble.]
  • The purpose of the Rapture is to call Israel to repentance and for God to restore them to a relationship with Himself through Jesus.
  • The tribulation is not about the Church. We are the Bride of Christ.  And what bridegroom, who loves his betrothed bride and has the power to do so, would allow his bride to suffer for one minute, let alone for seven years (or even 3 ½ years)?
We believe the Scriptures teach that Jesus will come for His Bride before the time of Israel’s trouble begins.
  • Paul wrote that the Bride of Christ is not appointed to wrath (1 Thess 5:9) and that Jesus has saved us from this wrath (1 Th 1:10).
  • Jesus told that the Tribulation will be God’s wrath poured out on the world (Matt 24:21, Rev 6-19).
  • And Jesus said that He will keep us from this time that will come upon the whole world to try them (Rev 3:10).
We believe that the Church is experiencing the “beginning of sorrows” (Matt 24:5-8).
In Greek, this means the pains of childbirth and we know that those pains intensify with time.  The world is experiencing the “beginning,” and some intensifying, of those “pains.”  But we shall not see the culmination of the birth pains, which is the time of Jacob’s trouble. That will begin when the Church is raptured and the Holy Spirit is no longer indwelling people on this earth (Thes 4:16-18, 2 Thes 2:7-9, Matt 24:9ff).  Those who remain will see the “birth” of the Antichrist.  And with the Light of Christ (the Spirit) no longer guiding anyone on earth, the world will be plunged into darkness.  But we are “the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.” (1 Thess 5:5)  We will be in Heaven when darkness falls.
