All Christians believe that Jesus will return to set up His Kingdom on earth. However, there are varying views about how and when Jesus will return, the events preceding the Lord’s return, and what the Kingdom will look like.
Four Views
There are four primary views of the end times: Dispensational PreMillennialism, Historical Premillennialism, Post Millennialism, and Amillennialism. Each is derived from interpretations of biblical prophecies. However, they can’t all be correct because they contradict each other.
While Bible-believing Christians differ in their understanding and beliefs on eschatology (the study of the end times), this should not be something that causes division. There remains much mystery about these events because they are yet future. However, one day we will all know clearly that which we can only understand by reasoning now.
Our View at Reasons for Hope* Jesus
We read the end times prophecies, including the book of Revelation, very literally. We understand the regathering of Israel into their homeland, in 1948, as both the fulfillment of prophecy and a key to understanding Revelation 6-20. Those chapters are about the people on earth after the Rapture of the Church when God will bring judgment on the earth. He will pour out His wrath, as a way to call to Himself a believing remnant of Israel. Hosea spoke the words of the Lord, saying,
Hosea 5:15 I will go and return to my place, till they [Israel] acknowledge their offense [unbelief], and seek my face [turn to Jesus]: in their affliction [the Tribulation] they [a believing remnant] will seek me early.
Reasons for Hope* Jesus believes in the Dispensational Premillennial view of the End Times. But again, many Bible-reading, Bible-believing Christians hold different views. Do NOT let eschatology become divisive within the Body of Christ. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. And keep looking up, for our redemption draws nigh.

Do You Know Jesus?
The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
