“Have mercy on me, O LORD, for I am weak.” Psalm 6:2

“And made me bold with strength in my soul.” Psalm 138:3

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

“He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy.” Psalm 147:10-11

“The LORD will give strength to His people.” Psalm 29:11

In whatever part we are weak and most beset by corrupted nature, we may yet be strong enough, through grace, to come off as conquerors. Therefore hope against hope and despair not, overcoming by the power of God, even though your corruptions within and your enemies without are ever so strong and obstinate.

I am weak indeed — but Christ is strong
I am poor; He is rich
I am sick; He is the Physician
I am a sinner; He is the Savior of sinners

Consequently, He suits me, and I suit Him. But let me look to Him daily, seek His face earnestly, and obtain grace to help in every time of need. He gives liberally and does not upbraid.

The strength of Jesus is for His people:

in this they have wrought
in this they have fought, and
in this they have all arrived safe at home.

O Jesus, teach me to live upon You for strength, and in every conflict, in every trial, in the hour of death, strengthen me, help me, and uphold me!

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
