“What do you want Me to do for you?” Luke 18:41

O Lord, do You ask me also this question? I answer, that I may see how gracious You are; and that, knowing Your love, I may make the warmest and best return. This is the sum and substance of all my desire. You know that of myself I can contribute nothing toward its accomplishment. But, in requiring me to ask, You assure me that You are willing to bestow.

Therefore, faith and love being Your demand, I humbly ask them at Your hands. O grant them to me, that I may exercise them both for the manifestation of Your glory. Since nothing is pleasing to You but what is Your own gift, I trust that You will certainly hear and fulfill this my request. My salvation is not grounded on my own — but on Your and Your Father’s love and counsel. Save me, therefore, by free grace, through Your merits, and let me go on, covered all over with grace and pardon. This is treasure enough, by which my heart can be well satisfied. This is more, infinitely more, than I have merited. It is all that my heart can desire. My prayer this day is, “Say to my soul, ‘I am your salvation.'”

Be Ready Always...

to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15).  When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.

When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
