“My soul faints for Your salvation…. My life is continually in my hand…. Uphold me according to Your word, that I may live; and do not let me be ashamed of my hope…. Look upon me and be merciful to me, as Your custom is toward those who love Your name.” Psalm 119:81, 109, 116, 132

O Lord, I love Your name, since You are called merciful, gracious, long-suffering, and even the Lord our Righteousness. I depend upon nothing of my own — but throw myself entirely upon Your free grace and righteousness, which alone keep me in peace.

Without You I am ignorant and weak; and, Satan being as wicked as he is cunning, what would become of me if I were not kept and preserved by You?

Your name is a strong tower; the righteous enter there and are safe. Let me abide there continually, so shall I be safe from every adversary. There shall I dwell in peace, under the shadow of the Almighty’s wing. I long, I faint, to experience Your delivering power.

O deliver me from the power of sin, the assaults of Satan, and the influence of this evil world. Deliver me often, deliver me daily, and at my last hour let my deliverance be signal and complete. Then may I be freed from guilt, fear, and temptation, and have an abundant entrance administered unto me into Your heavenly kingdom.

Do You Know Jesus?

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
