My conviction is that the more the Bible is studied–the more there is found in it to be studied.
Fresh light, strength, joy, help, grace, and blessing–break out from it!
Scripture is like . . .
the dawn–ever new in its light;
the air–ever fresh in its vitality;
spiritual food–ever nourishing to our soul;
the flowers–ever beautiful in their variety.
Our God and Father in Christ, I thank You that You have given Your Holy Word for my instruction. Enable me in the grace of the Holy Spirit . . .
to love Your Word supremely,
to believe it wholly,
to live it out truly,
to follow it earnestly,
to rest on it contentedly,
to follow it continually,
to practice it consistently,
to obey it unhesitatingly,
to hear its voice attentively,
to handle it reverently, and
to enter into its spirit devotedly.
In His Name, who alone is worthy, I pray. Amen.
Dr. Frederick Edward Marsh (1858-1931) was born in the UK and devoted his life to studying, preaching, and teaching the Bible with his many sermons, books, and outlines. He was a well-known conference speaker, and served as a minister of the Bethesda Free Church, in Sunderland, U.K. from July 1887 to 1907. Marsh encouraged diligent study of the Word of God and his book The Structural Principles of the Bible is a beneficial read for all believers. The late F.B. Meyer greatly admired Marsh’s work.
Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith... Heb 12:1-2

to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15). When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.
When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
