“Our citizenship is in Heaven.” Philippians 3:20

“Rejoice because your names are written in Heaven.” Luke 10:20

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” Colossians 3:2

A Christian, being only a traveler through the world, must expect a traveler’s fare: bad roads, bad weather, and bad accommodation. But since his journey will soon end and he will then enter the celestial city, all his actions, sufferings, prayers, and conversation turn that way.

O Lord, grant that my eyes may be always fixed upon this mark, and that I may regulate all my desires and doings accordingly! Thus may Your grace be shed abroad in my heart, so that I may engage in nothing that is unsuitable to the anticipation of heaven. Give me a clear title, a habitual preparation, and many sweet foretastes, while I am sojourning below. Let me like the patriarch live, looking for a city which has foundations whose builder and maker is God. What a privilege to have our names written in the Lamb’s book of life, to have our citizenship in heaven, and to live with the heart set on things above! All His saints have this honor: the poorest, the weakest, the most timid, ane even the most unworthy.

Be Ready Always...

to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15).  When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.

When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
