“Bring back our captivity, O LORD.” Psalm 126:4

“The LORD has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” Isaiah 61:1

“Thus says the LORD: ‘In an acceptable time I have heard You, and in the day of salvation I have helped You; I will preserve You and give You as a covenant to the people, to restore the earth, to cause them to inherit the desolate heritages; that You may say to the prisoners, “Go forth,” to those who are in darkness, “Show yourselves.” They shall feed along the roads, and their pastures shall be on all desolate heights. They shall neither hunger nor thirst.'” Isaiah 49:8-10 [See also Isaiah 35:10.]

O Lord, I am hungering after the righteousness and freedom, not only of faith — but of holiness also. Not that I may make holiness the foundation of hope, but the evidence of faith. And that I may be able to rejoice and take the comfort of Your righteousness alone, without deceiving my soul; that a sense of my nothingness and my emptiness may be ever present, that so I may be filled with all the fullness of Christ. Grant, therefore, that I may be truly filled and may be strong, easy, and free, so as to be kept no longer in the bonds of pride, unbelief, an upbraiding conscience, or a worldly heart. May I rejoice in Christ Jesus, as formed in me the hope of glory, as well as sacrificed for me, to make atonement for my sins. O to be enabled to say with Paul, from heartfelt experience, “I am crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live — but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Poor helpless worms in You possess
Grace, wisdom, power, and righteousness;

Do You Know Jesus?

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
