Who serves my Father as a son

All Christly souls are one in Him,
Throughout the whole wide earth.

About John Oxenham (1852-1941)

William Arthur Dunkerley (12 November 1852 – 23 January 1941) was born in Manchester, England, and spent a short time in America before moving to West London, where he served as a deacon and teacher at the Ealing Congregational Church, circa the 1880s. In 1922, he moved to Worthing in Sussex and became mayor.  As a poet, hymn, and novel writer, he wrote under John Oxenham.

Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith...(Hebrews 12:1-2)
