“You shall have no inheritance in their land, nor shall you have any portion among them; I am your portion and your inheritance.” Numbers 18:20

Whoever loves and possesses the Lord Jesus finds unspeakably more delight, honor, and riches in Him, than in all other things. Then all is willingly denied for His sake; and this denial springs from faith.

Now, O Lord, You are the all I need to make me happy, the only inheritance that can supply all my wants; to draw near to You is my greatest joy. I desire to love You evermore and to show that love by keeping Your commandments. I pray that a sweet sense of Your love to me may become my daily portion and my bosom treasure.

My soul, make Jesus your portion, and as such live upon Him day by day. He is your inheritance, therefore expect little from the world and little in the world. Having food and clothing, be therewith content. Live above the world by living on Jesus and triumph over the world by faith in His dear name.

Engage this roving, treacherous heart,
Great God, to choose the better part,
To scorn the trifles of a day.
For joys that none can take away.

Then let the wildest storm arise;
Let tempests mingle earth and skies.
No fatal shipwreck shall I fear —
but all my treasures with me bear.

If You, my Jesus, still are near,

Do You Know Jesus?

The Bible clearly states that everyone has sinned and fallen short of God's glory (Romans 3:23). It also emphasizes that while the wages of sin is death, God offers us the incredible gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).

If you have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, know that today is the day of salvation (Acts 28). Turn away from your sinful past and turn to Jesus. Remember, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Don’t wait—find hope and redemption!
