“My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.” Psalm 63:5
“Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns! Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory — for the marriage of the Lamb has come!” Revelation 19:6-7
Whatever does not tend to Your glory, O Lord, and is not Your own work (whatever appearance it may have) — is not really good and profitable. Preserve and assist me, therefore, to do all things as for You, in Your sight, and to Your honor. May my soul be ever magnifying Your name, O my dear Redeemer and Bridegroom — and may my whole conversation be directed to Your praise. Grant that my heart and mouth may be ever full of Your great mercies, and overflow continually with thanksgiving.
My soul, I charge you to seek satisfaction in Jesus, and in Jesus alone. Then, when satisfied with His love — you will praise Him with joyful lips. Never forget that Jesus, your Jesus — is the Lord God Omnipotent and that He reigns over all; and reigning over all, He will secure your welfare. Soon, very soon, will He come to take you to Himself and present you to His Father, as His beloved, blood-bought bride! Come, Lord Jesus, come quickly!
