“Good and upright is the LORD; therefore He teaches sinners in the way….
Who is the man that fears the LORD? Him shall He teach in the way He chooses.” Psalm 25:8, 12
O Lord, be pleased to fulfill this gracious promise in me also. You have inclined my heart to do Your will, and yet I am often in darkness about Your will.
Here it is written, “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way.” It is Your own word. I may depend upon it and would plead it with You. Many times You have fulfilled this promise already, and You are willing and able to do it evermore. You are ever mindful of Your word, and I would keep close to it. Then let Your Spirit well explain Your word and write it on my heart, enabling me to understand, to love, and to practice it, giving to me a spirit of perfect faith and implicit obedience and conformity to Your will.
My soul, daily seek Divine teaching. No one teaches like the Holy Spirit, and on some subjects, no one can teach to purpose but Him. He not only reveals the truth to the eye — but applies it to the heart and enables us to carry it out in our lives.
