“My soul longs for You like a thirsty land.” Psalm 143:6

“Let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17

“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” John 7:37

When your spiritual vigor and enjoyment, O man of God, begin to fail, examine yourself closely what may be the cause; implore pardon for all known offenses and guard against repeating them. And though you should not discover any particular sign of degeneracy — yet humble yourself deeply before the Lord; remembering, at the same time, that you are accepted, beloved, justified, and blessed in Christ.

In this disposition quietly wait to be refreshed again with the streams of Divine grace, but be also sure to cherish and make a right use of them. Thus you shall be like a watered garden. (Isaiah 58:11). We daily need the renewing of the Holy Spirit. The earth does not more need the dew and the rain to make it fruitful than we need Divine communications to make and keep us holy. We must often go to Jesus for the living water, or we shall become dry, barren, and unlovely. God has said, “I will be as the dew unto Israel,” and Israel should daily plead with Him to fulfill His word.

Be Ready Always...

to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15).  When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.

When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
