“I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.” Psalm 37:25
This declaration is animating to every believer’s heart. The Lord indeed cares for the righteous, for those who, having seen the want of mercy, feel confident through the promise of God that there is forgiveness with Him, through the meritorious life and death of Jesus Christ.
Jesus has declared that He will never leave nor forsake them, that He will withhold from them no manner of thing that is good. He cares also for their seed so that they shall not beg their bread. He provides for them when their parents are no more, and in such unexpected ways that many who see it are constrained to acknowledge, “This is the Lord’s doing.” Sometimes, while parents are living, in addition to the bounties of His providence, He places before them the bread which endures unto everlasting life and gives them an appetite for the heavenly food.
O Lord, if my ears have heard, if my eyes have seen, and more especially, if I partake of such blessings, thankfully may I own that You are a God keeping covenant and mercy; and make this proof of Your faithfulness a ground of reliance upon You for all needful and promised blessing! Help me to cast all my care on You and to endeavor, by prayer, instruction, and example, that Your goodness may be sanctified to my seed, that we may live together, here and hereafter, to the praise of the glory of your grace. O to meet my offspring at God’s right hand!

Be Ready Always...
to give a reason for the Hope that you have (1 Peter 3:15). When you can’t share the gospel with your words, share it by leaving tracts that tell people about God's grace.
When leaving a tract, always be diligent to pray about the short gospel message. Pray that it be found by someone who is in need of Jesus’ saving grace, and pray that the person will have a tender heart and open ears to receive the gift Jesus desires to give them.
By the power of the Holy Spirit, even a small tract can help in turning a broken sinner from darkness to light.
