For Christians, death is not the end…it’s the beginning of eternity in Heaven.
Are YOU ready for Heaven?
Will YOU be going there?
Paul, in his letter to the Philippians, wrote, “to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” What are you living for?
Many people live for money, fame, recognition, success, and other temporary things. There is nothing inherently wrong with these, but when they become what you live for, they become a problem.
King Solomon of Israel, the son of David, had everything a person could want—and more. Yet it was not enough. In the book of Ecclesiastes, essentially his personal journal, he looks back on a life spent chasing what he thought would make him happy and discovers it did not satisfy. He pursued material success, power, pleasure, wine, women, and more, only to conclude at the end of his life that it was all meaningless without God.
In his final chapter, he writes:
“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth…”
“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Ecclesiastes 12:1, 13 (KJV)
Everything is meaningless without God. That is why Paul could say, “to live is Christ”—because living for Christ gives true purpose and meaning to our lives. And he could say, “to die is gain,” because death brings the believer into the presence of Jesus in Heaven.
Have you surrendered your life to Jesus Christ?
Have you asked Him to forgive your sins and come into your life to be Lord and Savior?
